We ended up playing our softball games last night. I was really hoping they were going to be cancelled. The weather yesterday was so windy, cold and rainy. But, no, we played. I had on 2 t-shirts, a sweatshirt, my jersey, and a down vest. Brrrr. Of course there were puddles everywhere too. Being catcher I have to stand in the mud. I had it all over my clothes and face.
Luckily my friend Amy watched the boys so they weren't out there freezing. Although Thomas was not happy about being away from Mommy. When I got there to pick him up he was still sniffling in his sleep! Poor baby. I guess before that he was running around whacking the older boys on their heads. Ornery little man.
Oh, softball scores. We lost our first game 9-13, we played very poorly. And then the second game we whooped 'em 20-0! What a comeback. I did have one fabulous play behind home plate where I caught a foul ball. My awesome hubby hit two homeruns! Could have been more, but you have to wait for the other team to hit a homerun before you can hit another. He likes to hit them so he doesn't have to run the bases! (his words not mine!)
I am off to build a fire, its freezing in here. Maybe I'll get motivated and clean some bathrooms!

I like the layout of this blog ! Cute grass pictures too :-)
Sorry you had to play, but in the end it sounds like you had a good time. Just put it in the memory book. A fire does sound good doesn't it? Too bad I have to go to school to do Book Fair again, but I do get to watch Katelynn's music program today. She is a fish, she tells me. Bye.
