I got my nose pierced over the weekend! I have wanted to get it done for 10 years and just never have. The steering team ladies for my MOPS group went to the beach for a night to get away and do some planning. I figured then would be a good time. Two other gals wanted to get theirs done, but didn't. The pain was very minimal. The hardest part is soaking my nose in a sea salt and water solution every night. So now, as you can see, I am very proud of myself! My boys are unfazed by it. On the second day of seeing my husband I finally asked if he was going to look at me. He said he hadn't even noticed it, but had know I was getting it done. (My friend told her husband, who then passed it along.)
The beach was so much fun. We walked around to all the shops, not having to worry about someone touching something they weren't supposed to. We had an AWESOME dinner at an Italian restaurant. Did a little planning, and then played cards until 2 in the morning. The next day we did a bunch more walking around and then hit the outlet mall. We all loved the time away. I don't think you realize how great girl time is until you get some.
VBS is this week, so we are busy with that. J is loving all the singing and crafts. Oh, and the new story every day. My friend Heather and I are in charge of crafts. T is staying in the nursery, hes not too happy about that. Went to get into my van to go yesterday morning, it wouldn't start. C was gone so I was able to transfer car seats into his truck. Then the truck was empty, on the way to get gas I remembered I had VBS stuff at home. Got gas, headed back to get my stuff and then was on my way to pick up a friend. Remembered a bit down the road I had forgotten T's food for the day. Turn around and head back home. Pick up my friend and have 3 car seats across the back and 3 adults in the front. Lucky for me that was all that went wrong yesterday! And of course when my Grampa came to check my van, it started right up! BLAHHHH! We'll see if it acts up and leaves me stranded somewhere.
So that was my busy day yesterday! Today should be much more low key! Yikes, did I just jinx myself?

Ohh Yes! I had such a good time with you and the other gals. I was just thinking this to myself that we should plan something like this a couple times a year. Just to recoup, you know?? LOVE the pic of your nose!! :) The place wasn't so nice though were you got it done. Glad that it didn't take long and you were such a trooper! I know that you would have to put me "down" for that!!!!! HaHa!!
