Fun Times

We had some summer fun yesterday with our friends. My friend Heather and her 3 kids, Katelynn, Ashley, and Max brought their puppy Holly over for a playdate. Holly is a Rott, and at 4 months is larger than both my Beagles! Our boy, Dozer, was way too interested in Holly and had to be locked up most of the time. Lets just say its a good thing he is neutered!
The kids played on the swingset, ran around the yard and played in our blow up pool. That is until Max pooped in the pool! What is it with kids and pooping in water? James did it all the time when he was younger. Like a natural laxative or something. So we took a break, cleaned out the pool and then took a popsicle break. The kids all had to have blue popsicles, I don't think the flavor even matters as long as it is blue.
I always have fun with Heather and her kids. Her middle child Ashley has been very shy around us, until yesterday. Now I am getting to see the "real" Ashley, very talkative and playful. My family is really looking forward to camping with them this summer. I heard the campground still has snow! Yikes! We were wanting to wade in the lake! I have to figure out how to contact the ranger station and see how much snow there is up there. Tent camping, BRRRRRRR!
Poor cranky T has a runny nose. Which he loves to rub all over me! I would like to see a mom that can walk around without something goobered on her.
Off to a fun day of sorting through clothes, too small and next to fit! Gotta be done!
