What a horrible mother I am! J's first day of school and I forget the camera! I had it sitting out and was ready to go, and there it sat on the counter. Then of course I forgot to take a picture after we got home with his new artwork too. J doesn't seem to worried about it.
We did have some drama at school. There is another boy with the same name! J does NOT go by a nickname and will not even consider it. The other J tried to take my J's project because it had "his" name on it. Did not go over well with my J. Come to find out the other J usually goes by a nickname and has just decided (in the last couple days!) to go by his full name. Good thing they are learning their last names!
Preschool is a bit difficult right now. There are only 4 kids returning from last year in a class of 12. Those 12 are sticking together....big time! I am sure it is just a matter of time before J branches out and starts playing with the other kids.
Today was our first day of MOPS. We had 4 new moms! Two I didn't even know were coming. I think our group is going to be awesome this year. Its always nice when you get a group that all seems to be on the same page. Every one is a Christian and that makes it much easier too, we don't have to worry about pushing anyone away (unintentionally of course!) by talking about our faith.
Daddy and J went fishing yesterday and J caught the only fish. A pretty good size Salmon. Daddy had to help reel it in, but J was still very excited.

Wow! What a big fish!! And you are NOT a bad mom. What a cool mom to go "camping" in the living room. :)See you in the morning.
