Busy Weekend

My friend Wendy and her family came up from California for a wedding this past weekend. My friend Amy, the kiddos and I drove up to Seattle to visit them. We had a great time walking around Pike Market, Amy got a beautiful bouquet of flowers. T found a stuffed killer whale that is very similar to big brothers (thus the attraction) and J found some of those things you decorate your Crocs with, Spiderman and a pirate. We walked around all over the place, then headed to their hotel. They were running late, the airline lost their garment bag with all their dress clothes. We decided to walk a couple blocks to the Space Needle. I don't think J was too impressed with how tall it was, although he did want to ride the elevator to the top. The boys would have been free but it would have cost Amy and I $16 each, no thanks. Besides, been there done that.
Wendy and her family finally made it to the hotel in time to have pizza with us.

Amy, Wendy, T, and I then ran off to Nordstrom to find them some clothes for the wedding the next day. We power shopped and found 4 outfits in 45 minutes! I am really hoping their bag is found, maybe even waiting for them at home!
On Saturday we headed up with my grandpa to a Threshing Bee in his Models A's. My grandpa and grandma drove the grain truck, my dad and J drove the roadster and T and I were in the sedan. It was a nice ride up, kind of cool. The boys loved looking at all the stuff there, bunch of old motors out in a hay field. T loved the noises, while J was more interested in the tractors. We ate hot dogs and snocones, watched tractor pulls and visited. J rode around in train pulled by a tractor (hes the caboose).

My dad was a great help with T, I didn't bring a stroller and he likes to run off.....so he got packed everywhere.

We headed home in the heat of the day, it was a hot drive. The boys had fun, and so did I. Its great to do stuff like that with my dad and grandparents.

Now I need to clean the mess left over from the weekend!!
